- A Building Unity Statement about the Israeli attacks on the citizen’s of Gaza and the prior Hamas attack:
Building Unity is promoting a pro-peace stance. We recognize that individuals and nations have been historically impacted from colonizing and undue militarization. We believe there are other ways to resolve conflict and those ways need to be uncovered. Therefore we ask for a Ceasefire in Gaza, and the cessation of financing of military operations by the United States. Let our money go towards peace building and helping to rebuild war-torn areas, as well as to help those in need here at home. Let us proceed with nonviolence as our means and an unrelenting resolve for peace.
