Rock the Vote!
This coming Tuesday is the midterm elections. A chance where The people get to come together and join our voices and cry out in solidarity our points of view, our judgments, our schools of thought, our outlook, our slants and sides on how things have been in the current administrations nationally and locally. Where we can either cheer on the progress being made and support it further or call out the unfulfilled promises of the candidates we called to act on our behalf.
Often we find ourselves frustrated by our elective process and can cause a level of complacency overall lack of motivation to participate in it. However this stagnation is NOT the effect of ineffective administration, but the cause. The United States is given a chance at revolution every 4 years to change the policy’s and laws of the land and every other 2 years to cheer on the new ideals or say we are satisfied with the way of things. Revolution comes from the people, the peoples hearts and minds voicing their beliefs and demand action. Change can only happen when you let your voice, your vote, ring out. There is truth to the old saying ‘the squeaky wheel gets the oil’
