If you are planning to be part of the caravan, PLEASE, be sure of the following before you join us:

  • Fill out the Rider/Driver form. (This is a new form that is essential to make sure that all of us have a ride.)
  • Sign up with the TreatyPeopleGathering.com.
  • Make sure that you are either fully vaccinated for Covid-19 or you will have proof of a negative Covid-19 test within the last 24 hours before joining the tour. If you don’t meet these criteria, and you want to attend the tour only, please keep safe distances, wear a facemask and notify the tour leg leader.
  • If you are not planning to camp each night, make sure that you know where you are lodging. Most of us will be staying in the Duluth/Superior area on Friday night (6/4). We have an assortment of camping/floor space options available to us in Duluth. From Saturday night on, most of us will be camping in the area of Waubun, MN for the remaining days. If you are not camping make sure that you have secured lodging in a town in the area of Waubun. If you have questions regarding lodging, please write to janice.knappcordes@gmail.com.

The Treaty People Gathering groups are providing a great amount of resources to make this all possible (food, free camping, legal support, transportation, logistics, etc.) If finances present a barrier for your participation, we can most likely get financial support from them. Please let me know if financial support is needed. Tim – 608-630-3633. We will be taking donations of money at most, if not all of the tour stops, If you can, please give generously at one of the tour stops. Checks can be made out to “Minnesota 350.”

Here are some of the important tools that you can use to promote Wisconsin’s support to this historic turning point for climate justice!
